I hope the are doing well in you business and
ventures and they are giving you the rewards
in both money and life that you want.
If you are like most people, there is always
room for growth and improvement. Always new
things to learn. The more grounded and positive
you can be, the better and easier you can relate
to others and the more they will trust in you.
Consequently the more likely they will want to
deal with you.
We all have hurdles to overcome in life and in
our work and it is in the way we look at these
hurdles, that we deal with them and we learn
from them.

educate ourselves and look at how other people
approach various issues. Learn from the successful
and do things the way they do them and we have a
great head start at achieving great success of our own.

So it is with business and marketing. Marketing is
all about psychology. Making people feel good about
you and your product and service. Getting them to
feel what it will be like to own and use your product
or service. Making them feel good about doing business
with you.

People want to buy what your product or service will
do for them, not the product itself:

· How great that new car will feel – the power,
comfort, style
· How luxurious it will feel to have a bath in
the fragrant new bubble bath
· How they will save themselves time and
frustrations by having their tax affairs dealt with by
your accounting firm and be able to do the things they
enjoy instead
· How tranquil and relaxing it will be to have
a vacation in the cottages in that idyllic setting
· How great the glorious food will taste in that
new restaurant and how friendly and helpful the service
will be

These are things that most people want. The feel.
Not the features. It gets them excited if conveyed well.

These feeling can be called forth in any of the media
you chose to use for your marketing – TV, direct mail,
radio, telephone, even your face-to-face dealings with
your potential customers.

Make them feel good and chances are that they will
make YOU feel good by the way they respond, the
way they talk to their friends about you and at the
end of the day your bank balance.
When your bank balance looks good, you can get
all the things that help make YOU feel good.
The luxurious vacations, the flashy new car, the
beautiful home and the ability to help others in ways
you never could before.
