This page can be the beginning of Bigger and Better things for you.

I will touch on a few powerful ideas. Ideas you can use and implement immediately in your job or business to increase sales and influence people to see things your way. Ideas, whose power you do not realize until you think about them a little and get to understand them, even though they are very simple.

In Life, Business and Marketing you need to get messages out to people. Messages that are effective and get people's attention.
Whether you are trying to convince someone to buy your product or service, convince your boss that you deserve a pay rise or your partner that you need a new dress (or car). We all sell things. - Frequently - If not a product or service, it may be an idea or just ourselves in one way or another.
The message can be conveyed in print (news paper ads, direct mail, Yellow pages), voice (over the phone or radio), TV or in person.

Which ever means you use for your advertising, to communicate or get your messages across, they need to be EFFECTive.
They need to be effective in the WORDS you use, the ENERGY you (and your words) put out and the benefits you can bring to the other person(s).

- You must target the right audience - people who are likely to be interested in what you have to say or offer. If you target the wrong people, you are wasting time and money.
- You must get your message across effectively:

  • 1. have energy,
  • 2. show benefits instead of features (benefits give people that warm and fuzzy feeling). Always remember: a prospect wants to know WHAT'S IN IT FOR THEM. Show them benefits and make them feel good and they are likely to be yours
  • 3. Use words that sell
  • 4. If using print, the HEADLINE is most important. If you don't capture your prospect's attention in the first couple of seconds, you've lost them
  • 5. Up-sell and Cross-sell. That can mean a lot of extra money for very little effort
  • 6. If you've never heard of NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming), look into it. It will show you how to relate to people better, create rapport - even with people whom you have little in common with. In fact it will help you improve your relationships with your family and friends, as well as clients and give you a greater understanding of what tends to make people tick. Understand that and you can then begin to influence them without them even realizing it. It's something we all do every day, but we are not aware of it ourselves and we are not controlling it. Get some understanding of it and you will start to achieve amazing things. (when visiting the bank manager for a loan, dealing with staff, your partner or kids)

Here are a few tips. Things you MUST do in your business and your life:

    - Measure results!! Particularly with advertising and marketing. Have ways to measure your efforts and campaigns. How else do you know whether what you are doing is working or you're just wasting time and money. Measure, throw out the in-effective stuff and stick with the stuff that works. That alone will save you loads of time and money. In fact it makes you money.
    - Test any new idea on a small scale first. If it works, then go big.
    - Give a little. It makes people feel good and trust you more.
    - Consider the lifetime value of a customer. How much will they spend with you over the life of the relationship? Is it worth giving them a little extra and having them come back again and again? And refer their friends!
    - Give the customers what they want. It's no good trying to sell ice boxes to Eskimos.
    - Be genuine and reliable. If there are delays, let people know. They'll probably understand. If you just leave them waiting, they'll probably get upset and you may never see them again. And they'll tell their friends things about you that you don't want their friends to hear. That won't help your business at all.

A few simple things to think about. Hopefully this may help to inspire you to keep looking to enhance your business and your life and to look for bigger and better things. There is always a flow-on effect. We affect others in the things that we do and the way we do them.
The better you do, the better others can do.
    Smiles all around.

    Have a great day

    Kind regards

PS: Life is short. Make the most of it. Do what the successful have proven to work. There's no need to re-invent the wheel.

Lack and limitation can only exist when we make room for them in our mind.
